Ma’aser from Wild Asparagus

Wild asparagus is now in season in Israel. If I pick a handful of asparagus in the forest to eat for lunch, does it need to be ma’asered?
Thank you for your response.

Answer:

No, there is no need to take ma’aser from such asparagus. The reason for this is that the asparagus is the forest is presumably hefker (ownerless), and there is no obligation to take terumah and maaser from produce that is hefker.
