Parve Knife Used on a Milky Board

I cut very hot dried red chili peppers with a parev knife on a clean, eino ben yomo, milchik glass dish.
What is the status of the knife.

Answer:

One may be lenient, and the knife remains parev, though it would be better to wait 24 hours before using it with meat.

Sources: Although there are sources that indicate that the chilli pepper itself would become milky (see Chochmas Adam 60; Magen Avraham 451:31), some are lenient in this matter, and it is possible that the pressure exerted today on boards is not sufficient to constitute dochka. Concerning the knife itself one can be lenient, because the taste absorbed from the cutting board is weak, and would not necessarily transfer to the knife (see Shach 95:7).
