Auspicious Times for Prayer

There are times during the day which are known to be auspicious for ones prayers to be accepted? Can you enumerate these times for me? [For instance early morning.]

Answer:

The Gemara writes that there are advantages of prayer in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening (Berachos 6b). From further statements of the Gemara, this is assumed to mean that the time of sunrise is particularly auspicious, and the Gemara mentions that some were particular to pray specifically at the moment of sunrise. The time of sunset is also auspicious, however, one cannot pray exactly at sunset, for fear that the time of the minchah prayer will elapse. The night, and in particular the time of midnight, when night begins moving towards day, is a special time for prayer for the redemption, and for the rebuilding of the Temple (as formalized in the ‘tikkun chatzos’).
