Should a torah tape or cd be put in shamash? its old and can not be used any further? What should be done?
Answer:
An old Torah tape or CD can be discarded of in the ordinary manner (in the garbage).
Only written text of Torah has any kedushah, and electonically recorded information can be thrown away.
