Someone that is learning, as part of his daily seder, Hilchos Aveilus, may he learn these halachos also on Shabbos? Is there any ‘inyun’/reason not to?
Answer:
There is no reason, to my knowledge, to avoid studying the laws of aveilus on Shabbos, unless they cause a person to think of death and morbid matters, and bring him to sadness and dejection on Shabbos.
