Uprooting Veses Kavua

An isha with a vest kavuah made a bedika on the yom ha-vest that came out clean. Later that day she found a cesem that was m’tameh. Shortly after this her vest came (however not on the day that it was kavuah for.) Since there was a bedika on the yom ha-vest that came out clean and even though she found a cesem we say “ain b’cesamim mashom vest” could this time be counted towards being oker the vest? Or since l’maseh she still become tameh on this day that it doesn’t count towards being oker?

Answer:

From sevara alone, it appears that it would count towards being oker: Although she is tamei, her tumah is rabbinic alone, and not the Torah tuman of veses.

Yet, there is room to argue that the bedika doesn’t help, because the kesem was seen before the end of the day, and she might have seen blood later on the same day.

I’ll be obliged if the learned questioner will provide sources.
