Doubt over Conversion

My wife and I have been married for some years and we have wonderful children. My wife was adopted at birth and converted via a good beis din and my rav confirmed via my wife’s paperwork that everything was kosher. I just came across this and it scares me: I read that when a child is converted at birth, that child at bas/bar mitzvah is then given the option and asked whether they want to remain Jewish or not and it is their choice. What scares me is that I have no idea if my wife was ever asked this or not and I do not know for the life of me how I could bring this up with her. What am I to do?

Answer:

Because your wife was converted via a good beis din, you can assume that she was asked whether she wishes to continue being Jewish, and you don’t have to bring up the matter.

Even if she was not asked, she can also decide now to remain Jewish, and she clearly wishes to do so (if she loves being Jewish, as you say). [This is a one-time decision; once she decides to remain Jewish, she cannot undo it.] Unless she makes a full objection to her becoming Jewish, the conversion remains valid.

Therefore, no action needs to be taken.
