Claiming Warranty on Toaster

I bought a toaster and I toveled it after which I left it drying for a few days.
It seems when I try use it the thermostat is broken, I have a 12 month warranty, am I allowed to return it?

Answer:

To my knowledge, you generally lose the warranty by immersing the appliance in water.

In this case, you won’t be allowed to return it, because this will mean going against the terms of the warranty.

In general, experience shows that toveling appliances does not damage them, provided they are left to dry properly (this can take a number of days).

However, there are always exceptions to the rule.

Good luck and best wishes.
