Printing Torah Books in Other Languages

Is it permitted to print divrei kedusha in a language other than loshon Hakodesh? I think the mishnah berurah says that there is a problem to take it out of a burning house and carry it in reshus harabim.

Answer:

It is permitted to print Torah and other Divrei Kedushah in any language.

There is a dispute concerning this issue, as mentioned by the Beis Yosef (334) concerning the issue of saving such texts from a burning house on Shabbos. However, the halachah follows the opinion that it is permitted to write the books, and therefore to save them, too.

See the original source in the Gemara (Shabbos 115a), and the Beis Yosef (Orach Chaim 334); see also Shaar Ha-Zion 30.

Best wishes.
