What is the Bracha for Rice

If cooked and therefore soft and sticky, the berachah is mezonos.

If uncooked, such as puffed rice, the berachah is ha’adamah.

Best wishes.

The opinion of Rabanan as recorded in the Beraisa on Berachos 37a is that rice is mezonos with a brachah acharonah of al ha-michya. The gemara challenges this with another beraisa which says that the there is no brachah acharona on rice. On 37b the Gemara concludes that the brachah is mezonos with brachah acharonah of borei nefashos.

This is ruled by the Shulchan Aruch 208.
