For a person who needs to eat and drink on Yom Kippur, what are the Shiurim for eating and drinking?
Answer:
A person who is eating shiurim must drink no more than 35 cc’s of liquid and eat the volume of a small matchbox once in 9 minutes (see Aruch HaShulchan 618:14; Shulchan Aruch 618:7).
Food (solids) and drink (liquids) don’t join together. It is permitted to eat and drink the relevant amounts once in 9 minutes.
Best wishes.
