Auto Collision Din Torah

I was involved in an auto collision, no one was hurt but the other person’s car was damaged. The other party called police immediately (instead of settling) and according to the report I wasn’t guilty. Can he call me now to din torah, or he forfeited the chance by calling police.
p.s. It wasn’t the car’s owner that was driving, but his employee, a yungerman, but seems he did everything in consultation with his boss by cellphone.

Answer:

He has the right to go to a Bais Din. They should be informed of the police report. It is likely they will accept the police’s assessment and see no need for a din Torah, as they ultimately have the knowledge and tools to determine who the negligent party was.
