Forbidden Preparations on Shabbos

Hi On shabbos I took a crockpot and put some potatoes meat and spices on it and after shabbos I added more am I allowed to cook it now and eat from it or is it considered eating food prepared on shabbos?

Answer:

If you are refereing to raw ingredients, this is certainly prohibited on Shabbos. Aside from preparing for after Shabbos raw meat and potatoes have muktzeh status and may not be moved at all on Shabbos. Once Shabbos is over you may then cook the food as this is not considered getting benefit from prohibited work being done on Shabbos. This being since you didn’t effect any change in the food and the preparations could be done in a matter of minutes after Shabbos.
