Hi, I accidentally put butter into a meat frying pan. The pan was cold and hasn’t been used for meat for the last couple of weeks.
as soon as I realized what i had done, I washed the pot with cold water.
Is the pan considered treif?

As long as the butter and pan were both cold , there is no concern for absorption of flavor. The pan should be washed well with soap and water, and is permissible for use.
