Bracha on Sprouted Wheat Bread

Do I have to wash on one slice of sprouted wheat bread if I am eating it as a snack?

Also, if I grind up a slice of bread and use it as breadcrumbs in a recipe as a binder, do I need to wash for that food item?

Answer:

Yes, any bread which is hamotzi remains as such even when eaten as a snack.

Ground bread used as a binder is considered secondary [tafel] to the dish and only the bracha for the dish is made.
