Daughter Escorting Mother Down Aisle

‘Is it accurate that a child cannot walk a parent down the aisle at a parent s wedding? My wife and I are getting married in an Orthodox ceremony. We were originally married in a Conservative ceremony 37 years ago and are renewing our vows but we wanted our daughter to walk her mother down the aisle.’

Answer:

A daughter may walk her mother down the aisle. The custom is to be particular, when possible, that the bride and groom should be escorted down the aisle by a married couple.
