I had a question in regards to the validity of a divorce of a shidduch prospect. I understood that this man was forced to divorce his first wife even though he did not agree in the beginning, on the basis that – details removed- . Is this divorce considered valid according to the most stringent halachah?

The laws of Gittin are numerous and very complex. The main thing to determine is if the get was given through a reputable, recognized Bais Din. If it was you can rest assured that the get is 100 percent kosher according to the most stringent opinions. From your description of the story it would seem there would be no problem with the get, but again the crucial factor is that it was overseen and issued through a competent Bais Din.
