Question:
On Chol Hamoed, is one required to drink a revi’is of wine in such a way that a bracha achrona will be required (to drink it in one or two gulps), or can one sip it at length, even though he will be unable to make the bracha achrona?
Answer:
Being that the purpose is to bring happiness that wine brings, and not to drink as kiddush and havdala, one may drink even at a pace that will not obligate in a bracha achrona.
