Question:
Frozen strawberries with an OU, made in China, the package says “Yetzur meyuchad naki l’mehadrin.” (especially produced clean l’mehadrin). Does it need to be cleaned or checked before using?
Answer:
If you normally rely on the O.U. for other food items why is this any different? Normally the O.U. doesn’t write in Hebrew on the wrapping so perhaps there is another hechsher as well. Perhaps you can send me a picture.
