Question:
I have 2 identical drip trays/pan- that came with the oven (I’m note sure what type of material it is – picture attached), we have a meat and pareve oven , the trays got mixed up . Is it ok to just clean them with hot water , or does it need to be kashered further than that .
If it does need to be kashered , would it be ok to just put aluminum foil over it ?

Answer:
The first thing I would do is to make some permanent sign on one of the trays so that this mistake should not reoccur. You should insert them both in the parve oven, on the highest heat setting for approx. half an hour.
