Shabbat

Question:

I have a digestive condition whereby I am not allowed to eat within 4 hours of going to bed. If I don’t adhere to this now, I will end up on dangerous drugs and may require surgery. If I do so I can cause further health damage in the night which then impacts my life significantly.
Is it permissible by any accounts to have my meal before plag for health reasons and then to just make kiddush and have hamotsi afterwar Shabbat/shul? I know this isn’t allowed normally but I am getting ill every week. If there’s a way I can be yotsei through someone else’s kiddush afterwards or just drink a reviit of grape juice after, that would be even better as even the kiddish and Challa after Shabbat enters means I need to stay up for another 4 hours, which means ruining my Shabbat.

Answer:

First of I would like to wish you a refuah shlema. You can eat when you wish, then go to shule and daven. Afterward someone else can make kiddush for you and you can drink a reviis of grape juice.
