Kohanim entering hospitals in the US

Question:

I’m considering taking a summer job in northern Pennsylvania where I may be required to accompany children to the hospital (for broken arms, stitches etc.). I understand that it may be problematic for kohanim to enter a hospital under these circumstances. I’d like to know if one may be lenient in such a case where the closest jewish community is around 40 minutes away (Scranton) which reduces the likelihood that there are any jews there. The hospital in Question is Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA.

Thanks,
Aron

Answer:

If you think that it is highly unlikely that any Jews frequent the hospital there is room to be lenient.
