Question:
I’m looking at Bemidbar 33:55 Rabbi SR Hirsch says the book of Shofetim is a history of what happened to the jews when they failed to kick out the inhabitants of the land. Why did King David conquer new territory (Shmuel 2 8:5,6) without driving out the existing inhabitants? Should Ezra have also tried to kick them out?
