Question:

If you cook hard boiled eggs in a dairy pot or steamer, does the egg retain its pareve status such that it could be sliced with a pareve egg slicer and the slicer would remain pareve? Is the answer to the question different if the dairy pot/steamer was or was not used within 24 hours? Does the temperature of the eggs when sliced affect the outcome? Thank you!

Answer:

Your question is only valid if the eggs were hot (temperature of the eggs was above 45 degrees Celsius) but if the the eggs were cold or only warm no problem. If the eggs were hot, if  the dairy pot/steamer was not used within 24 hours then can use pareve egg slicer without any problem, but if the  dairy pot/steamer was  used within 24 hours then maybe one should refrain from using the egg slicer.
