Can i take food from Yeshivas kitchen without permission?

Question:

it stealing to take food from the Yeshivas kitchen without asking, if eventually they will use it/ serve it. For example, there is a box a cereal thats out during breakfast, and later in the day I am hungry, can i take some and it it?
Or there are chocolate chips that they use to bake cakes for shabbos, can i nosh on some, because eventually I will eat then anyways.

PLEASE DONT POST MY QUESTION ON THE WEBSITE. THANK YOU.

Answer:

Even though there are rumors that certain Rabbis allowed stealing food from the Yeshivah never the less since the donors give the money at the discretion of the Rosh Yeshivah or administrator, you should ask permission to take the food. Also it is not wise to get accustomed to taking something that doesn’t belong to you even though there might be a lenience.
