Repeating Maariv if I davened too quickely

Question:

If one rushed through Maariv on motzoi YK, as is the custom of many, including swallowing words, and after he ate he feels really bad that he did that, may he repeat it as a voluntary prayer?

Answer:

Technically you can say a prayer as voluntary, however it isn’t recommended since there are a few conditions, such as that you have to concentrate on each words of the whole Shmona Esrei as you are saying it, you have to know the meaning of each word, and you have to add something to the middle brachos, (and preferably add to all of the middle brachos). Therefore the poskim say that it isn’t recommended unless it is halachically needed.
