Answer:
1) The grape is not considered holy or sacred, however it is considered prominent, because we make wine out of it, and wine was used on the alter in the holy temple. Wine is also considered the most prominent of all drinks. However it doesn’t have any intrinsic holiness.
2) Bread is also not essentially holy or sacred, however it is considered prominent and important since it gives us our sustenance, therefore we have to treat it with respect, and not step on it or disrespect it.
