Question:
I took a DNA test that came with a result of being 7% European Jewish. I do not believe it is accurate to state that I am Jewish because it does not specify if it comes from a maternal ancestor. What would be a good source to discover more if these ancestors are my great-great grandmother? I do not know any surnames of these Eastern European ancestors, but my results give me a range of the parts of Eastern Europe my Jewish ancestors settled.
