Question:

It is now a few days before pesach. I accidentally touched a non-kashered for passover meat soup spoon into cooking pasadika chicken soup. Is soup still okay for passover? My wife wants to kill me. Please help.

Answer:

If the spoon was not used for chometz in the last 24 hours, and it isn’t a ben yomo, then we can be lenient since it is before pesach. Therefore the soup is permitted to eat on pesach.
