Hi I am wondering I know it is forbidden for a married woman to sleep with another man, and if she does she is forbidden to her husband. I’m wondering is there any halachic difference if I were to wear a condom as in would she then Not be prohibited from her husband? Thank you
Answer:
A married woman is forbidden to have any relationship with any man except her husband. This includes even kissing or hugging. Obviously sleeping with another man is absolutely forbidden. When a couple marries it is called “kedushin”, and this is part of the specialness of the bond of marriage, that the woman is separating herself from marrying or having a relationship with anyone else but her husband.
