Question:

I know that you get 40 lashes for eating a non-kosher animal, and you get 40 lashes for eating a meal of milk and meat. If that is the case, if you eat a bacon cheeseburger, for example, would you get 40 lashes or 80 lashes? It is one action, but you perform two aveiras simultaneously.

Answer:

IF the burger is made of bacon and cheese, the person will only get 40 lashes, because the biblical prohibition of milk and meat is only if the meat is from a kosher animal. If there would be bacon and kosher meat in the cheese burger, then he would get 80 lashes.
