Question:
May one say tehillim on shabbos for a sick (not-pressing) individual or for a relative’s shidduchim? Is there a difference if one says tehillim the entire week and continues on shabbos?
Answer:
We don’t daven for a sick person, ( unless it is life threatening) or for shidduchim on shabbos. The reason is because we should not be worried and occupied with worries on shabbos. However things that a person says every day such as daily tehillim are permitted since it is part of his regular schedule.
