Can one use a temporary sticker like a post-it note or flag (the smaller ones designed for bookmarking) on Shabbas if it is intentionally temporary and will be removed after Shabbas? Would this still be considered the malacha of stitching if temporary?
Answer:
If it will done with the intention for it to only be there temporary and not for a long time it is permitted, since it is made with in order to be stuck and unstuck frequently, it isn’t considered tofair l’zman. Note: the notes may not be removed from the pad on shabbos as that would be makeh b’patish.
