Question:

I washed sugar snap peas and sliced them and put them in salad.
Should I throw away salad cos I didn’t split it open to check?
Thanks so much

Answer:

There is no need to throw away the whole salad, in the worst event you could remove the peas and eat the rest. But the truth is that you don’t even have to do that. If the peas were grown in the United States, then they don’t even need to be checked. If they were grown in China they do need to be checked, but if they weren’t and they can’t be checked now, the salad may be eaten. This information is as of this writing (Nov. 2017)
