Kaddish

Question:

When to recite kaddish for a death person on the next year if a person passed away by12 am

Answer:

The day of the Yahrtzeit goes according to the Hebrew date that the person passed away, which changes at nightfall, and not by the English date which changes at midnight. For example, if nightfall on 2 Tevet is at 5:30pm then if the person died after 5:30 then the Kaddish the next year would be said as if he died on 3 Tevet, even though the English date has not changed yet.

If you need any help figuring it out, let me know the exact time date and city of the death, and I will be able to tell you which date to say the Kaddish.
