Question:

Recently I was stuck inside a building which I was attempting to leave -with a female dance teacher during a rainstorm which made it very dangerous to drive home , is this considered yichud or is it oneis

Can the Rav also provide general advise on dealing with the situation .

Answer:

Being stuck in a building, doesn’t necessarily mean that it was a  yichud. It would depend on how often people come into the building, where in the building they were, etc. The fact that it would be dangerous to drive all the way home, would not make it an oneis, because you can drive to somewhere local where it wouldn’t be yichud, or walk to a different building and wait there until you could drive home .
