Is Kopi Luwak coffee kosher?

Question:

There is a type of coffee called “Kopi Luwak”. This coffee is also referred to as “Civet Coffee”. It is made by the following process; First, specific coffee berries are eaten by the Asian palm civet (a type of cat). Second, the cat excretes the beans naturally. Third, the beans are cleaned, roasted, processed etc…
The coffee made from this process has a very unique taste, and has gained the reputation of the worlds most expensive coffee.
My question is, could this coffee be kosher? Specifically, does the fact that the coffee is enhanced by going through the cat’s system affect the coffee’s kashrus status?
