Listening to a recording

Question:

I asked someone who was going to a conference (that costed money) to record the speeches on her mp3 for me. After the conference the organizer sold recordings of the speeches duration in total of about 4 hrs for ppl who couldnt attend. The person who recorded for me only got down about 2.5 hrs of the speeches. Is it ok for me to listen to my friend’s recording or would I really owe money to the organizers seeing as they did sell the recording afterwards? The organizer noted that whoever bought the recording should not share with others as it is only for paying customers.

Answer:

Being that you see that owner is makpid about it, you should ask thier permission before letting other people listen to it.
