We know that Abraham crossed the Euphrates but did he cross the Jordan to get to Shechem?

Answer:
From what I have seen, Abraham entered Israel from the north, from the Lebanon Syria area, in a southern direction. It is possible that he did cross the Jordan at some point, but I am not aware of that.
