Question:
Can one use hot water from a non-kosher store in the airport to make a coffee or soup? What about on a plane?
Answer:
If the hot water source is only for plain hot water, it is permitted, but if they make non-kosher things in the machine then it is a problem.
Thanks for responding to my question.
Even if the kettle was only used for water, why shouldn’t we be worried that it was dirty from treif food or at least washed with treif food and is still ben yomo?
