Question:

Does one fulfill maaser if they give maaser to an athiest jew?

Answer:

One should not give his maaser kesofim to an atheist Jew as he is considered an apikores. One does not fulfill giving maaser to places that it is forbidden to give.

If you need a place to give some of you maaser money… I know of a website that is an excellent place to give your maaser money. It is supporting torah, and spreading torah throughout the world… It is called DINonline…

Best Wishes
