The general rule regarding asking mechila for transgressing a mitzva bein adom l’chaveiro, is that we are only obligated to ask mechila or notify the person if he was negatively affected by what we did. If he was not negatively affected by our action, there is no need to ask him mechila. Therefore regarding your question, since you repaired it, and I am assuming that the situation is exactly or better that it was beforehand, then you do not have to say anything to him.
