Israeli outside of Israel on 2nd day Yomtov of Shavous

Question:

I permanently reside in Israel and have to be in the USA over the Shavous holiday.
I am staying in a back-house of a rather large private home with its own separate entrance and plan to keep the door locked. No one can see from outside the house to the inside. There is a inside room only accessible from the inside of the house. Can I use my computer on the 2nd day of Shavous to send emails and Whats App messages to family in Israel who know that I am outside of Israel for the holiday?

Answer:

A resident of  Eretz Yisroel that is in chut la’aretz for the second day of yom tov may not do any melacha, even if it is only d’rabonon, and even if it is behind closed doors.
