Sharing negative impression with husband

Question:

Lichvod Harav
We are considering playgroup options for our child and I’ve met several people with playgroups. Can I discuss my impressions with my husband openly even if it includes negative impressions or concerns that I have about the various teachers?

Answer:

Whatever is needed for toeles and relevant to sending your child’s attending the playgroup is allowed to be discussed as long as it is being discussed with the intention of your child’s benefit. For example, it would be permitted to talk about how attentive the teacher is to the students, if she is a warm person, etc. However whatever negative things do not pertain to your child’s going to the playgroup i.e the house was a big mess, and the shelves weren’t dusted, that would not be permitted.
