Question:
We are in Israel now and will be going to the US on Monday and won’t be back in Israel until after Rosh Hashanna. We had guests over for shabbos and all the bedding and towels were used and need to be laundered. May I do the laundry and put it away for the next time we come so that the bedding and towels don’t get ruined?
Answer:
It is problematic to do laundry during the nine days. If you want you can have someone wash it after the ine days for you, alternitively if you keep them in a place that is airy, it shouldn’t get moldy or riuned until you come back.
