Question:
Are there leniency or even exemptions for melamdim (for example, people who teach Torah to young children) on respective fast days? If so, what are the parameters?
Thank you
Answer:
I am not familiar with any leniency for melamdim. One thing I can say is that normally a melamed has to be careful to get a correct amount of sleep, and the night before a dast day this would be even more important, so that he will have strength and stamina to teach properly.
Best wishes
