Source for Bowing at the Beginning of Kedushah

Is there a source for bowing when saying ‘vekara zeh el zeh veamar’ during kedusha?

Thank you!

Answer:

There is no clear source for the custom. However, the pasuk in Yeshayahu (6:3) is translated by Targum and by other commentaries as meaning that the angels take leave of each other, and this is probably the source for slightly inclining oneself right and left, as angels who take leave of each other. According to this source, the order would be first right, and then left, though the general custom is to first bow left.

Sources: Az Nidberu (13:32) writes that there is no source for the custom, and therefore adds that there is no preferance over which side to bow to first (for those who bow — because there is no source for doing so). Minhag Yisrael Torah (125:2) also writes that there is no source, yet goes on to quote from the siddur of Lelov that one should bow right and left, and also quotes from the Zohar. Rivevos Efraim (vol. 5) writes that one must bow right first and then left, but does not mention any source.
