Hot Piece of Meat in a Treif Sink

a hot piece of meat fell into a treif sink can it still be used?

Answer:

If the sink did not come into contact with treif food for a period of 24 hours before the meat fell into it, then the meat remains kosher, and may be eaten. However, if the sink was in contact with hot treif food (or with meat and milk) within the 24 hours before the meat fell inside, it would be forbidden to eat. If the meat it particularly hot and spicy (for instance, meat cooked in chile sauce), this would constitute a problem for any treif sink.
