Shalom!
A person was employed on a per hour basis. The amount of work normally would take say 100 hours. This person has designed a new mothod of working and achieved exactly the same result in 20 hours. Can he claim the pay of 100 hours?
Thank you!
Answer:
Because your agreement was made on an hour basis, you would not be able to claim pay for hours during which you didn't work. I would recommend that you inform your employer of the special method you devised, and ask for a rise in pay, on account of the "special" work you did.
Much hatzlachah!
