Working Per Hour

A person was employed on a per hour basis. The amount of work normally would take say 100 hours. This person has designed a new mothod of working and achieved exactly the same result in 20 hours. Can he claim the pay of 100 hours?
Thank you!

Because your agreement was made on an hour basis, you would not be able to claim pay for hours during which you didn’t work. I would recommend that you inform your employer of the special method you devised, and ask for a rise in pay, on account of the “special” work you did.

Much hatzlachah!
