Fire and Driving

On which holiday is it permitted to light a fire but not to drive?

Answer:

On the three major festivals (Pesach, Shavuot, Sukkot) it is permitted to transfer a fire to light another fire — but it is forbidden to light a new fire. Driving a car is considered as kindling a new fire (igniting), and it is prohibited on all festival days.
